Unit Visibility

Units within a course can be turned on progressively to align with classroom progress, allowing students' workload to be gradually increased.

Student Progress

Classroom supervisors and students themselves can track progress in courses and units. Detailed information is available for every item being learned.

Staff Access

School administrators, support staff and supervisors have different levels of authorisation, ensuring they can only access the features relevant to their role.

Paper Notes and Tests

Designed for language learning

Wurdle was designed specifically as a language/vocabulary learning tool. It's purpose is to provide an effective memoristation tool for use outside of class, allowing class time to be spent on other tasks such as grammar and speaking practice.

Contextual Prompts

Simple flashcards can be enhanced with contextual prompts, directing users to things like tense, parts of speech and gender. Secondary answers can also assist with languages that can be written in multiple scripts.

Recognition Based

Wurdle is about recognising words and phrases visually. The flashcard process is rapid because the student does not have to write anything down. We do not use multiple choice as this encourages deduction rather than recall.

Specialty Drills

Some elements of language are impractical to reproduce in a fixed set of vocabulary. Our specialty drills randomly generate numbers, dates and times in different formats providing a large and varied vocabulary set automatically.
